OCTOBER 4, 2010 - Midwest Community Health Associates welcomes Bradford Moss, MD, FACS, as a Urologist.

Bradford Moss, MD, begins work as MCHA’s urologist on Oct. 4. This is a temporary assignment for Dr. Moss, and he has agreed to stay while MCHA continues the search for a full-time urologist.

A board certified urologist, Dr. Moss comes to Bryan from Akron, Ohio, where he was a partner with Physicians Urology, and was affiliated with several hospitals including Akron General Medical Center, SUMMA Health System and Barberton Citizens Hospital. He specializes in all aspects of general urology.

He received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida, and completed his internship at Akron General Medical Center, and his residency at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine Affiliated Urology Residency at Akron General Medical Center, Akron City Hospital and Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron.

In 1990, Dr. Moss organized and directed the start-up of the Urodiagnostic Center at Tuomey Regional Medical Center in Sumter, SC. He also implemented a hotline for impotence patient education. He has been a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Akron General Medical Center for 11 years.

Dr. Moss has done specific research in a variety of areas including metastatic lelomyosarcoma and the laparoscopic identification of pelvic lymph nodes. He has also done presentations on topics including bladder cancer and bladder preservation, urinary incontinence, and urologic topics in geriatric patients.

He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of the American Urologic Association, the North Central Section of American Urologic Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Summit County Medical Society.

Dr. Moss is married to Peg and has four adult children, Vincent, Emily, Alex and Mark.

Dr. and Mrs. Moss are renting a home in Bryan. His special personal interests include computer programming and computer installation.
