Oncology is the branch of medicine that seeks to understand the development, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer. Our Oncology Department coordinates the multidisciplinary care of cancer patients, which includes diagnosis, therapy, follow-up care following successful treatment, palliative care of patients with terminal malignancies, and ethical questions surrounding cancer care.
